Stamping Bella new release!

This is a VERY exciting week for Stamping Bella!  Not only are there three new Uptown Girls and two Mo Manning stamps, we have a new artist joining the Bella family - Diane Duda with four new stamps!  And they are ALL gorgeous!  Check out all the sneak peeks on Bloggabella here!  They will be available in store on Monday (or perhaps a little earlier - I'll let you know if so!).

So, I am going to show you my card using one of the new Uptown Girls called Opal the Optimist...

Oh, that's me on a Friday night out - well, less skinny and not so tall though!  I matched her up with Sara Schmutz Nursery Rhymes digi papers.  I used my Nestie to die cut the heart out of the paper then popped it on foam pads to give some depth.  I stamped the matching sentiment onto a MFT DieNamics Designer Label 4 stax die cut.   I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

I can see I'll be using this lady a lot!  I'm off now but I will be back tomorrow with my Bellarific Friday card using one of the other Uptown Girl newbies!

My exciting news!

A very quick post - then you can scroll down to see my Bella Babe card with the new release peek! ;)

My regular visitors will know that I LOVE There She Goes stamps - I have been an ardent follower of their blog and regular spender in their store!  Well, a couple of months ago I was asked to be one of their Trendsetters - well it took me all of nought point nought seconds to accept!

So now I get to play even more with some of my favourite illustrators such as Melyssa Connolly and Torico.  And we have two new illustrators joining us too and you are going to love their cuties -  Megan Suarez and Wendy Leach! I just can't wait to get going!

You can check out the new Trendsetter announcement over at the blog here - this is a seriously talented group so I feel very privileged to be part of this team!

ttfn!

Day 3 of the Lil' Inker Designs new release hop!

It's the last day of the new Lil' Inker Designs release showcasing new stamp sets and matching dies with a blog hop!  Here is my card using the new Circles and Diamonds stamp set that works with the matching Circles and Diamonds stitched die and the Connected Circle die...

I love how this came out - it's quite a different style for me!  I used various VersaMagic inks and my ColorBox Frost White ink.  I also used the Stitched Square Mat for the layering and teeny tiny heart and flat backed iridescent pearls randomly so it didn't look too flat.  I used Sahlin Studio papers for the card base.  I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

Back to the hop - make sure you comment as you hop long - the more you comment, the better your chance of winning!  We'll be giving away prizes for two $10 store credits! You should have come here from sweet Jen Carter and you now need to hop off to the lovely Jen del Muro.  You'll then want to pop off to the store here to see all of the new goodies!

All That Scraps February release review!

We are reviewing more gorgeous the All that Scraps  February new release!  Today we are showcasing the very sweet Sweet November stamps!  So here is my make using Sweet November Esther and AmyR Eggstra Special sentiment...

I just love her!   I matched her up with Meghan Mullens Love Blooms Here papers and some American Crafts ribbon.  I also used C.C. Cutters Four Season Fence die, Grass Border Die and Olive Branch Die.   I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

Check out more Sweet November inspiration over at the blog here.  See you later with my Make It Crafty inspiration post!

Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs new release hop!

It's day two of the new Lil' Inker Designs release showcasing new stamp sets and matching dies over a three day blog hop!  And make sure you comment as you hop long - the more you comment, the better your chance of winning!  We'll be giving away prizes for two $10 store credits!

So here is my card using the new Notebook stamp set that works with the matching Notebook die...

This is such a cool set - I think it's perfect for guys and teenagers and I made this card for my 20 year old nephew who I think is super cool!

I used My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup papers and a touch of twine.   I even did some doodling with my Sakura white gel pen which I haven't done for ages!

So back to the hop!  You should have come here from sweet Jen Carter and you now need to hop off to the lovely Sarah Jay.  You'll then want to pop off to the store here to see all of the new goodies!

See you tomorrow with day 3 of our hop!

Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs new release hop!

It's time for a new Lil' Inker Designs release and we are going to showcase new stamp sets and matching dies over a three day blog hop!  And of course what's a blog hop without prizes?  Make sure you comment as you hop long - the more you comment, the better your chance of winning!  We'll be giving away prizes for two $10 store credits!  You'll definitely want to hop!

Before I  get onto my make, just wanted to announce the new designer to our team - Suzanne Dahlberg of The Card Yard!  Welcome Suzanne - you are a fab edition to our team!

For my first project today, here is my card using the new Circles and Diamonds stamp set that works with the matching dies...

I loved playing around this set!  It's so satisfying creating your own background rather than rely on designer papers.  I used various VersaMagic inks - these give such a gorgeous chalky look and it's so opaque too.  For the white I used ColorBox Frost White which I think is the best opaque ink out there!  I also used the Stitched Square Mat for the layering and a touch of twine to finish it off.

So back to the hop!  You should have come here from sweet Jen Carter and you now need to hop off to the lovely Sarah Jay.  You'll then want to pop off to the store here to see all of the new goodies!

See you tomorrow with day 2 of our hop!

A better place with you!

Hello everyone!  I'm here with my regular DT project to show you a card I made with some of my current favourite goodies in the Quixotic Paperie store!  I've made this card for a very good friend of mine who is always there for me...

This lovely lady is Gorjuss - Poppy Wood who I stamped onto Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured in with my Copics.  I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Ginger paper pad and the sentiment is from the Stamping Bella - Uptown Girls - Felicity & Blair.  I also used lots of My Favorite Things Die-Namics - of course!

I'm off to finish off the rest of my weekend.  See you later on my blog rounds and thanks for visiting!

My heart POPS for you!

Hello, happy Saturday everyone!  I was so excited to see yesterday that one of my cards using Lil' Inker Designs got featured on the Paper Crafts Connection blog!  My goodness, I feel so honoured!  Anyhoo, you should check it out here if you'd like a chance to win your own Sugar Kissed Cottage Snarky Lady I stamp set!

So I'm actually here today with my Doodlicious Diva make using one of the new releases in the Whimsie Doodle store.  Here is a card that I made for my hubby using My Heart POPS...

Isn't she gorgeous?  And it's perfect for us - we love going to the cinema and we always buy popcorn - me sweet, him salty!  And I love the sentiment that comes with this Lizzie too.

It's another Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to work with, so here is my Bellarific Babe card....

Ain't he cute?!  This is Puff by Jessica Rose and this stamp also comes with a mini Puff too - it is even cuter!!  And do you know what's even better?  The set is reduced from $10.99 to $5.00!  I matched him up with My Minds Eye Lime Twist papers and used an embossing folder to create some interest.  I am entering this into the Paper Shelter challenge for celebrations (a birthday of course!).

The new Bellarific Friday theme is "banners".  Email your creations to Em by next Thursday 28 February for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks (either by submitting a project or simply commenting on next week's Bellarific Friday post)!

Lovely. Beautiful. Darling.

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope your week is going well.  So today I just wanted to share with you a card I made with Stamping Bella's Uptown Girls Felicity and Blair that I have made for a friend's birthday...

I matched these gals up with papers from the My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart collection and added lots of touches of Glamour Dust glitter on their clothing and champagne (well, I am assuming it's champagne, my fave drink!).

Okay, well I am off, see ya later on my blog round!

Thank you little helper

Today over at By Lori Designs the design team are showcasing digi stamps associated with Spring or Easter so I decided to use one from the new line called The Pedal Pushers - Birdhouse Brian and I can't wait until it's warm enough to wear short sleeves!

I used kraft cardstock for the card base, papers from October Afternoon 9 to 5 collection and My Favorite Things picket fence die cut.  The sentiment is also By Lori Designs from the new set called New Everyday Sentiments II that contains some really sweet phrases in really sweet fonts!  Check out more Spring and Easter sweetness over at the blog here.

I'm off but I'll be back tomorrow with my Bellarific Babe card - thanks for visiting!

Fluttering Sapphire Fairy

Happy Monday everyone! I'm here today with a card featuring one of the beautiful fairies ever using those gorgeous Make It Crafty goodies!

She is so dainty that I just wanted to frame her and I thought wood grain would be perfect for it! I coloured her with my Copics and used Stickles Glitter Glue in Star Dust on her wings and on the chipboard butterfly. The sentiment is also from a Make It Crafty sentiment set.  The papers are from the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline collection.

Make It Crafty goodies used:

Copics used:
Hair - E50, E53
Skin - E000, E11, E21

He he, I love saying that word - well it's not actually a real word, but it still makes me smile saying it!  And it always pops into my head when I use this stamp...

This is Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Bubbles Love Her Bubbly (I just love the names of the Uptown Girl stamps!).  The papers are by Sahlin Studio and I used the Lil' Inker Designs Square Stitched mat for the card base.
